“I'll give you the honest version, not the resume version.”
Hi, I’m Oli.
Coaching straight out of college since 2004, the plan was to support myself through design school. That lasted about five minutes, there was a gap in Canberra's corporate health and fitness space, and I just kept saying yes to each next opportunity. Seventeen years later I was still there.
I built and ran a company largely focusing on corporate health from 2007 to 2024. We worked with public and private sector organisations across Canberra, the Australian War Memorial, the Department of Defence, the Departments of Health, Education, and Agriculture, PWC, Icon Water, ActewAGL, the National Film and Sound Archive, and the MS Society. I also built the health and fitness program for the Canberra adult mental health ward, and several primary schools.
Here's the bit most people don't know. I've been strength training since I was 14. I had an underactive thyroid and was told to lift weights to help my metabolic health. I never stopped. Twenty plus years and a stack of qualifications, research, and lived experience later, that teenage thyroid diagnosis turned into my whole philosophy: strength is the one thing that moves the needle on almost everything else. That's not just something I believe, it's backed by the avalanche of overwhelming evidence, and it's what I still build every single client's program around. Get stable. Get strong. Get fit. Get healthy.
I didn't invent the wheel. I just did the research, gathered what actually works, and turned it into something simple enough for you to actually follow.
